Built Around Creativity

Located in the heart of Almonte, this layered creative space brings together original encaustic artwork, mixed media exploration, curated decor, artistic gifts, creative workshops, and collected finds through the evolving artistic vision of Christina Lovisa.

The lovisART Boutique

Part artist studio, part retail experience, and part creative gathering place, the shop was designed to feel immersive, inspiring, and a little unexpected. Visitors will find original encaustic artwork, fine art prints, artistic lifestyle pieces, tactile decor, creative supplies, meaningful gifts, and thoughtfully curated objects layered throughout the space.

More than simply a place to shop, it is a space designed to be explored slowly; a world filled with texture, colour, storytelling, wax, layered materials, and artistic discovery around every corner.

Located in downtown Almonte, the space continues to evolve alongside Christina’s artistic practice, blending creativity, curiosity, and everyday living into one welcoming environment.

About Christina Lovisa

Christina Lovisa is a Canadian mixed media and encaustic artist, creative educator, and creative entrepreneur whose artistic journey began in 2007 after responding to a deep calling to create and make the world a more beautiful place.

Working across encaustic beeswax, acrylic paint, photography, found-object assemblage, and layered mixed media, Christina creates soulful contemporary artwork rooted in texture, symbolism, emotional connection, and storytelling. Her work has been exhibited in galleries and shows throughout Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, and New York City, and her artwork has found collectors around the world.

Her international clientele includes organizations such as Cirque du Soleil and the Michael Jackson Estate, while galleries and licensing partnerships across North America continue to represent both her original works and fine art prints.

Over the years, Christina has also become widely recognized as a mixed media and encaustic educator, helping artists deepen their creative practice through immersive workshops, online learning, retreats, mentorship, and artistic exploration.

As Christina describes it:

“I make art because I have to. It is my life’s current expression of itself where words seem to fail, and images speak louder and more clearly on my behalf.”
