Moth Gardenscape Project
This workshop is for anyone who loves texture, layers, and that “wait… you MADE that?!” moment.

You’ll create a long, skinny encaustic piece (approx. 9” long and about 1.5” deep) that’s finished on all sides—so it looks like a real art object, not just a painting. We’ll build a gardenscape surface using encaustic collage + beeswax painting, then take it up a notch with raised 3-D mold elements that you’ll apply, paint, and integrate into the final piece.

It’s a Make & Take, so you’ll leave with a finished artwork in your hands—warm, luminous, and full of delicious detail.

What you’ll learn / do
Create a layered background using encaustic collage
Paint and fuse with encaustic beeswax for depth, glow, and texture
Learn how to apply 3-D molds for raised dimensional details
Paint and finish the 3-D elements so they feel intentional (not “stuck on”)
Finish the sides so your piece looks polished from every angle
