WHAT: In this brand new one day workshop, we will be painting mixed media and encaustic NESTS, the Lovisa way! This is an all-supplies included workshop (except the panel), is a tremendous value for a finished piece of art. No experience is necessary.
COST; Broken down into deposit of $100 (due now) and $129.00, one week before the workshop start. You will be reminded and offered an optional panel at that time.
TO BRING; Wood painting panel of choice in size. Some people may choose to work on a piece of scrap wood, a cupboard door or a piece of barn board, this is the reason for you bringing in the panel size that suits you. Recommend atleast a 12'x 12" but have a look at all my nest samples for size/style ideas. We do have several panels for sale in the studio if this is something that slips your mind until the day of 😂 . Max size for panels is 18" x 18". or 20" x 24". Participants are encouraged to bring in inclusions for their nests, fibres, ribbons, papers, yarn, string etc... What is included; Chalk and clay-based paints, Ephemera and inclusions. Encaustic paints and use of tools and all finishing products. Guaranteed fun day with a finished piece!

There is plenty of free parking in this area and lots of great little spots to pick up a coffee in the am or some lunch at our breaktime.
