Why not give encaustic a whirl? This ancient technique of painting with tinted and stabilized beeswax paint is truly fun and addictive! My signature mixed media and encaustic workshop, titled “Two Worlds Collide,” is suitable for all levels of painting practice, including beginners. In this workshop, we’ll learn the stable combination of mixed media materials, including paints, adhesives, and collage materials, along with introductory and encaustic application.
We’ll follow a plan that guides you through the steps for creating a long and skinny “landscape” featuring an image of your choice. I designed this program 10 years ago, and it’s still popular on Pinterest and other platforms, so I’m guessing it’s stood the test of time! Join me in this original workshop and prepare for a truly unique creative experience.
COST: ON SALE until store opening! This course includes all supplies to complete a 6”x 20” painting ready to hang on the wall. All paints, papers, and encaustic collage will be included with this fee.

The class will run from 11-4pm
WHERE: 56 Mill Street, Almonte. Park on the street or in the municipal parking lot located behind the Bank of Montreal.
